Face Value x Elizabeth Waggett

Face Value examines the misplaced values of modern society.

Last Thursday, my supremely talented (and drop-dead gorgeous) friend Elizabeth, celebrated opening night of her first solo art show in NYC! I had the opportunity to visit the show a bit before everyone else arrived and was able to preview all her art before the crowd.

Elizabeth pours her heart and soul into each and every piece, and they can take up to a month (and sometimes longer!) to be completed. I have felt so honored to be able to watch her work in her studio at times - it's incredibly inspiring! And to see it all in one room -- it just takes your breath away.

Gallery hopping can be serious business so a pair of statement heels are not only pretty -- but also necessary. I featured these Schutz pumps in my last post and I think it's safe to say I'm still in love with them. They feel like Aquazurra's but have their own style to them -- and at a fraction of the cost! Since the weather was finally acting like Spring, I seized the opportunity to wear a floaty, silk skirt. To top it off (no pun intended) I chose a mock neck top with long sleeves because it was going to get a bit chilly later in the evening (and yes, it was going to be a late evening!) Links below to everything I'm wearing.
