Noir Beauté: Beauty + Technology = Conture

I love technology and I love new beauty finds so it's always a fantastic find if the two of them have come together. Meet 'Conture', a 'Kinetic Skin Toning System'. Hmm, what now? Don't worry about it -- all it loosely translates to is: a-m-a-z-i-n-g skin. Seriously.

I'd say I'm someone with okay skin - it's not totally blemished but I'm certainly not naturally glowing like a Victoria's Secret Angel. And like every normal person I look tired sometimes and then I'll binge on sleep for a weekend and look refreshed for a mere 6 hours (give or take).

So needless to say I was a bit skeptical when first trying out Conture. I was given a device to try before it's official launch (thanks, amazing Conture team!) and I was surprised to actually see my face look improved overnight. The device uses low-frequency vibrations to stimulate your skin. But don't take it from me - read the expert (super scientific) explanation below:

The Conture Kinetic Skin Toning system utilizes Ultra-Low Frequency Vibrations that radiate outward from the treatment cup. The effects of Ultra-Low Frequency Vibrations are a consistent focus area of new research designed to find increasing ways to stimulate skin, particularly aging skin. In a clinical study designed to measure the effect of skin absorption of topicals such as lotions and cremes, the Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System was shown to improve the skin’s natural ability to absorb by 300% compared to a skin area which just had topicals applied.

The starter kit gives you three different types of lotions as well, which you can use in conjunction with the device. All you have to do is apply the lotion of choice liberally on your skin, then start Conture-ing away! The device is totally pain free and really just feels like a little suction cup on your face. I'm seeing amazing results after trying this for a few days (dull skin, be gone!) and can't wait for this to become a part of my daily skincare ritual.
